Quota counter looks wrong or stuck
How the counter works
- The counter increments by 1 for each successful PDF generated (failures don't count)
- Resets to 0 on the 1st of each month (UTC midnight)
- The pill in the sidebar header shows remaining PDFs (not used)
"My counter says I used PDFs I didn't generate"
Possible causes:
- You generated from a different sheet — quota is per Google account, not per sheet
- A teammate on your plan generated (paid plans only) — team members share the quota
- You're confusing remaining with used — the pill shows remaining (e.g., "⚡ 7" means 7 left, not 7 used)
"My counter is stuck and won't reset"
The counter resets on the 1st of each month UTC. If it's the 1st in your timezone but still showing high usage, check UTC — if you're in Asia, the reset is a few hours after your local midnight.
"I want to manually reset my counter"
You can't on the Free plan — that would defeat the quota. The fairest path is to wait for the natural reset.
If something genuinely went wrong (e.g., 500 PDFs failed but were counted as success due to a bug), email contact@sheet-to-pdf.com with your account email and the date — we'll investigate and credit if appropriate.
"My counter shows the wrong max"
On the Free plan, your max is 5 + earned unlocks. If you've claimed unlocks (e.g., the Welcome bonus), your max should be 8+ rather than 5. Open Account → expand "Earn more free PDFs" to see your earned PDFs.
Phase 1 note (early launch)
Right now (Phase 1), quotas are tracked locally in your browser per account. Future versions will move to server-side tracking, fixing any sync issues across sheets.
