Bulk email PDFs to recipients
Instead of generating PDFs and emailing them manually one by one, Sheet to PDF can auto-email each generated PDF to the recipient in a column of your sheet.
How it works
- You pick a recipient column in your sheet (the column containing email addresses)
- You write a subject + body once, with
{{Variable}}placeholders - For each row, Sheet to PDF: generates the PDF → renders the subject and body for that row → sends an email with the PDF attached to that row's email address
Enable bulk email
In the sidebar (on a Pro plan or above):
- Check Email each PDF
- Recipient column — pick the column containing email addresses (we auto-detect one if any header matches "email")
- From name — what the recipient sees as the sender ("Acme Corp", "Sarah at Acme")
- Subject — supports
{{Variable}} - Message — the email body. Plain text, supports
{{Variable}}. Line breaks are preserved.
From address & replies
Emails are sent from noreply@send.sheet-to-pdf.com (our verified domain), but the recipient sees your "From name" in front. Replies go to your email automatically — recipients who hit Reply land in your inbox, not ours.
noreply@yourdomain.com instead. Contact us to set it up.Volume limits
- Pro: up to 3,000/month (your normal PDF quota)
- Pro+: up to 15,000/month
- Premium: up to 60,000/month, with a daily soft cap of 50,000 to maintain deliverability
All sends go through our verified infrastructure — no setup needed on your end.
Anti-abuse
We monitor bounce rates and complaints. If your sends bounce above 5% (e.g., bad email column with many invalid addresses), we automatically pause your email feature and email you to clean up your list. This protects every other Sheet to PDF user since we share a sending domain.
Use cases
- Sending invoices to your client list at month-end
- Distributing course certificates to students
- Mailing offer letters to candidates after a hiring round
- Sending weekly reports to a stakeholder list
